Manufacturers of batteries and accessories for mobile phones have evolved by leaps and bounds in recent years, since what at first were small batteries that allowed mobile phones to be charged anywhere have ended up becoming authentic energy storage stations to provide electricity to an entire home.
Accumulate energy for your personal use
With the rise in the price of electricity and with not many alternatives, many users are making the leap to solar energy, a solution that, in addition to being a clean and renewable energy, saves a lot of money in the long run. The problem is that if you do not consume a good amount of energy, so to avoid wasting it, there are accumulators, which are nothing more than high-capacity batteries that are responsible for saving energy to use it at another time. .
And recently, two manufacturers that until now had encouraged themselves with portable power stations, have launched to market two domestic energy storage solutions to complete a home solar panel installation.
In the case of EcoFlowthe brand presents the PowerOceana battery for domestic solar energy and modular format that allows to expand the capacity of the system so that the initial investment is not so bulky (these batteries have a fairly high cost). One module would have a capacity of 5.1 kWh with a power of 3.3 kW, two modules would go up to 10.2 kWh with 6.6 kW and the complete pack of 3 batteries would reach a total of 15.3 kWh with power of 9.9 kW. In total, a total of 9 batteries can be configured in groups of three with which to add a total of 45 kWh.
Anker’s proposal
On the other hand, we have Anker’s proposal, SOLIX, with which the manufacturer continues to seek the greatest compatibility when installing a solar energy system. And it is that its catalog begins to fill with products related to solar energy, and as a latest addition these energy accumulators arrive that are very similar to the EcoFlow modular proposal.
Like the EcoFlow option, these Anker batteries have an official application and web portal from which to manage the system, and know at all times what is happening with our energy.
How much does it cost?
At the moment neither of the two manufacturers has specified the price of their solutions, so we will have to continue waiting to know exactly what price they could have. In any case, we are talking about devices that require installation by a professional, so everything becomes more expensive, since these installations are usually long-term investments.
