This is what the perfect PC for gaming costs according to Steam

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

This processor was released in November 2020 and even today, it is still very good. Something that we must also take into account that it comes with a heatsink, so we save money on this element. Also, keep in mind that this processor does not include graphics, so if the graphics card breaks, we will not be able to use the equipment.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite

It is not a demanding processor, it is very good, but it requires a huge motherboard. Among all the available options, this Gigabyte solution has caught our attention. Is a Micro-ATX motherboarda somewhat more compact format than the ATX format, more than enough for any setup.

This motherboard offers us four slots of memory DDR4 con support for a maximum of 128 GB. It has two PCIe x16 slotsone of them PCIe 4.0. In addition, it has a PCIe 3.0 slot and two M.2 sockets for SSD drives, being the first of the PCIe 4.0 type connected directly from the processor.

It has very good connectivity, with one PS/2, four USB 3.2 Gen1, four USB 2.0 and an RJ-45 connector for internet. It also integrates video connectors, being one HDMI and one DVI-D.

RAM memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 16GB

The motherboard does not have RGB and we wanted to continue with the dynamics of a fairly discreet system. Note that according to Steam, the vast majority use 16 GB of RAM. We have chosen this Corsair Vengeance LPX Kit high quality and highly valued. This memory kit is quite simple, but of great quality and features.

About this kit, we talk about two modules of DDR4 RAM memory of 8 GB each, so they add up 16 GB. They have a very good quality aluminum heatsink designed to keep the memories well cooled and obtain the maximum possible performance. Work this memory kit at a 3200 MHz frequency and has a CL16 latency.

We want to highlight that in PcComponentes this kit is worth less than 50 euros and it is (at the time of writing) for less than 45 euros

Graphics card: ASUS TUF Gaming GTX 1650

Surprisingly, a few months ago the graphics card most used by Steam users became the NVIDIA GTX 1650. Also, many users show disinterest in Ray Tracing and DLSS technology, elements not supported by the GTX 1650. We have focused on this ASUS model, because it is very compact and of very good quality.

ASUS TUF Gaming GTX 1650

What does this graph offer us? Well, it has a total of 896 CUDA Cores and as we said, it does not support Ray Tracing and DLSS. This graphics card lacks the RT Cores and Tensor Cores to support the mentioned technologies.

Does this graphics card run at a 1635MHz frequency and can arrive in mode Boost to 1665 MHz. It is complemented with 4GB of GDDR6 memorywhich for recent and demanding games, can be quite fair, to be realistic.

Note that this graphics card has an HDMI 2.0b, a DisplayPort 1.4a and a DVI-D. It’s not much, put like that and compared to the latest models, but it has a lot to say and it’s more than enough to play in 1080p.

Storage: Crucial P3 1TB

We continue, now moving on to storage. Although the characteristics are not stated, Steam does tell us that the usual thing is to have a 1 TB SSD. We have opted for this crucial unitwhich we really like for its price and because it is a division of Micron, one of the main memory manufacturers on the market.

Crucial P3 1TB

This unit is based on M.2 format and is based on the interface PCIe 3.0, that is great This unit offers us a speed of read up to 3500 MB/s and one write up to 3000MB/s. We could go with a PCIe 4.0 drive, but it makes the system more expensive and then we won’t notice the improvement.

Little more to say, it does not have any kind of particularity or striking feature.

Power supply: Corsair CV650 650W 80 Plus Bronze

For the system to work, we are going to need a power supply and it must be of a certain quality. Power supplies can last a long time, so it is always interesting to size them, taking into account the constant increase in consumption of the hardware. One of the best manufacturers of these components is Corsair and we have looked at their products.

Corsair CV650 650W 80 Plus Bronze

The power supply we have chosen has a 650W power, more than enough for the whole set. This is characterized by having a 80 PLUS Bronze certification, which guarantees us an efficiency of up to 88% with a load of 50%. It is complemented by a 120mm fan with 0dB technologyto avoid discomfort when the load is low.

We must emphasize that this power supply is not modular, something that always complicates the job a bit. Acquiring a modular PSU makes the product more expensive and in itself it is not an economical product.

Rook: Nfortec Azir Black

For this component we have based ourselves on the simple premise that it has a front that allows a large flow of air. Among all the options, by design this box of nfortec. It has a tempered glass side and a front with a 3D effect design that allows a great flow of air.

Nfortec Azir Black

We are talking about a box of 0.6mm SPCC steel, which is usually the norm in gaming towers. This material with this thickness guarantees great resistance and durability. It has a tempered glass side window, to see the interior of our setup.

has space frontal for three fans of 120/140mm, Two 120/140mm can fit in the back and space for one 120mm in the back, which is included. Offers space for two 2.5″ SSDs and a system of drive bays for 3.5″/2.5″ drives, as we wish. It also stands out for having a cover that hides the power supply, something that is perfect since the one chosen is not modular.

Finally, note that on the front panel we have two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 port, as well as a headphone jack.

Monitor: LG 27MP60G-B 27″

This product is completely optional, since if you have a 1080p monitor, you are still not interested in changing it. We wanted to find a monitor gaming for said resolution and we really liked this LG. It is a fairly large monitor, with features and technologies focused on gaming.

LG 27MP60G-B

What stands out about this monitor is its size and it is that we have a 27-inch monitor with IPS panel. This monitor, as we said, has a 1080p resolution and offers us a refresh rate up to 75 Hz and a response time of 5 ms. We are talking about an economic solution that is far from other higher quality solutions.

Does this monitor have AMD FreeSync technology, to offer a sharp image without cuts and other problems. Regarding connectivity, it has an HDMI 1.4 and a VGA. Lazy, but for the price and focused on gaming, it’s hard to find anything better.
