This Lenovo all-in-one almost does the work for you

Not all users of a desktop computer require a powerful gaming tower. What’s more, many will never take advantage of the expansion capabilities and the tower will take up significant space on the desktop. This is where the so-called AiO computers come in, integrating all the necessary hardware in the space of a monitor. Lenovo’s latest bet on this type of computer is the ThinkCentre neo 50a. It will come to our country.

The concept of the AiO desktop computer is not one that is closely associated with the PC world, since it sacrifices expandability in exchange for gaining space. Not in vain, the first computer in history was the original Macintosh, an extremely compact computer from 1984 that brought all the circuitry and its screen in one piece. Today many of you will have seen Apple iMac-style computers in movies and offices. However, it is not something exclusive to the Apple world and for some time now we have been seeing computers of this type for PCs, although its potential market is rather work offices.

What brings us the ThinkCentre neo 50a

First, like all good desktop AiOs, its hardware is based on laptop components, allowing Lenovo to integrate its hardware behind a 23.8-inch panel and Full HD resolution, 1920 x 1080 pixels. Which is also low blue light emission, which is ideal for those of us who spend long hours in the office.

And what do we have inside? well one Intel Core 12H CPU in combination with a ARC A370M graphics card of the same brand. It is not a high-caliber team, but it is what it has been designed for and it has plenty of power for it. As for the rest of the specifications of the equipment, if we talk about storage we have 1 TB via high-speed M.2 PCIebut we have the option to connect a dhard drive up to 2 TB through its SATA bay. As for the amount of RAM, 16GB of DDR5 memory.

Although the most important point of ThinkCentre neo 50a is the use of artificial intelligence in combination with its 5 Megapixel webcam. In this case, it becomes crucial for teleworking, since it comes with a retractable webcam with support for technologies such as immediate translation into other languages and voice to text. In addition, that the AI allows functions such as the creation of subtitles when we have conversations in various languages and interaction with Amazon Alexa. Of course, not everything is reduced to interpretive improvements, we also have noise reduction and image quality during the videoconference.
