Three Andalusian startups are awarded 30,000 euros in the Minerva Program

The VIII edition of the Minerva Program has awarded 30,000 euros to the three startups with the greatest traction and business potential. It is an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities and Vodafone.

these awards, endowed each with 10,000 euros, their objective is to promote the consolidation of these businesses once they have successfully completed the acceleration. Specifically, the Minerva Program has recognized Firmafy (Granada), Oslice Technology (Jaén) and Travelfine (Seville) for their capacity for innovation and their growth in the market during the program.

The General Director of Digital Economy and Innovation, Rocio Diaz Marshaland the director of Public Administrations of Vodafone for Andalusia and Extremadura, Ramon Montorohave been in charge of delivering these awards from the Minerva Program, the public-private collaboration initiative to promote technological entrepreneurship and the creation of innovative companies in Andalusia.

During the event, Rocío Díaz congratulated the winning companies for contributing to the promotion of economic activity in the region with their innovations and highlighted the “role of Minerva as a reference accelerator in Andalusia that provides comprehensive support to business projects, from the most incipient stages of the business, to the marketing of its products or services”.

In addition, it has reinforced the commitment of the Ministry of Economic Transformation with Andalusian entrepreneurs through the General Entrepreneurship Plan that, “with almost 60 measures, it is the necessary instrument to build a coordinated itinerary of public and private services to support companies and startups to attract and retain talent and investment”.

For his part, Ramón Montoro has pointed out that “one more year, the health of our entrepreneurial ecosystem is confirmed and we have the opportunity to recognize to the three award-winning companies that, without a doubt, are called to occupy a prominent place in the Andalusian business environment”. He also added that “For Vodafone and the Junta de Andalucía it is a great satisfaction to have been able to contribute from Minerva to the promotion of all the projects of this edition”.

These awards aim to promote the consolidation of these businesses once they have successfully completed the acceleration.

Capacity for innovation of the winners

Specifically, the Minerva Program has recognized these three startups for their capacity for innovation, their degree of traction achieved and their growth in the market during the program:

The Granada company Firmafy has created a solution that universalizes the use of advanced electronic signatures in all types of companies, regardless of their size or budget. Its system allows you to sign any document quickly, safely and legally from your mobile. It is the only software of its type that collects five types of evidence on the identity of the signatory to guarantee the authenticity of the signature, complying with the European eIDAS regulations and data protection. Its operation is very simple: any document is opened from the smartphone and can be signed with your finger on the screen. The system is valid for all types of contracts and documents, allows several signatories and saves time and costs, because the use of paper is reduced.

Oslice Technology, born in 2020 in Jaén, develops products to provide small and medium-sized industrial companies with the necessary technology so that they can automate their processes, especially in those phases in which quality control of the products produced is essential. By implementing artificial vision, an industrial-type company can save time, which increases performance and profit margins by reducing possible losses.

By last, the Sevillian Travelfine is a digital platform that aims to apply new technologies to travel insurance to personalize and make policies tailored to any traveler. This solution allows policyholders to request assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from anywhere in the world through an international call, WhatsApp channel, online chat, email or their own app. The company is developing new functionalities such as access to a medical chat through video consultation or the possibility of prescribing a prescription electronically.
