Three Galician SMEs will travel to Japan, led by Clusaga

F2F Health Matters, the internationalization accelerator consortium for agri-food SMEs and in which the Galician Food Cluster participates (clusaga), has selected the beneficiary SMEs of its second call for aid for internationalization, whose destination country is Japan.

Specifically, companies Bodega Líquido Gallaecia, Dairy Pet and Real Conservera Española, Clusaga partners, along with other SMEs from Belgium, France, Slovakia and Portugal, will have the opportunity to expand their business in Japan thanks to one of the two types of financial support offered by F2F Health Matters: “Commercial Lead Support” and “Travel Aid”.

The first consists of financing personalized consulting services commercial prospecting on the Japanese market; while the second is a contribution of €2,000 for travel and subsistence expenses derived from participation in the collective internationalization mission to Japan.

Comprehensive support for internationalization

In parallel to the selection of the 17 beneficiary entities of the second call for the project, the consortium, made up of the European clusters Wagralim (Belgium), Valorial (France), Clusaga (Spain), BioEconomy Cluster (Slovakiahere) and InovCluster (Portugal), is working on the organization of the direct trade mission to Japan.

As planned, the trip would take place from June 19 to 23, 2023, with a view to coinciding with the JFEX – JAPAN INT’L FOOD EXPO. In addition, the beneficiary SMEs will receive support to meet with potential business partners in the Japanese market, to lead to new agreements and promising collaborations.

To pave the way towards the mission, all selected companies will be part of the F2F Health Matters “Elite” training and preparation program for the Japanese market, which will offer training through an online community.

This call for support for internationalization It is the second that is carried out within the project. The first, whose destination country was Canada, carried out the trade mission in November 2022. In addition, the project plans a third and final call for internationalization to the United Arab Emirates market. In addition to opting for the aid offered by the project, SMEs can obtain information on different international markets through a series of online events open to the public and organized by the F2F Health Matters consortium.
