The expert company in micromobilityTier, has just reinforced its staff, with the appointment of Manuel Arauco What new country manager. His objective is going to be to lead the landing of the company in Spain, where it began operating last November through the acquisition of Nextbike, the main shared bicycle operator in Europe.
Before joining Tier, Manuel worked both in startups and in large listed companies such as Just Eat or Accenture Strategy. At Just Eat he led the Commercial Growth team for Southeast Europe, managing 7 countries, including Spain.
Expert in startups in pre-seed phase
Likewise, it has a extensive experience in the technology sector, where he has worked on the launch and international expansion of startups from the pre-seed phase. In this sense, Manuel worked as COO at Ona, a startup in the restaurant sector where he helped close its seed round and start operations in France, Switzerland and Portugal. In addition, he was Country Manager at Helpling in Spain, a startup from the Rocket Internet accelerator dedicated to home cleaning services.

Born in Bolivia, Manuel is based in Spain, where he graduated in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from IE University and also participated in an exchange program with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
