How did Tim Cook get to Apple?
Tim Cook was born in Alabama in 1960, and is businessman, computer scientist and engineer. In addition to being the CEO of Apple, Cook also serves as a consultant to Nike, the National Football League and Duke University. He is undoubtedly one of the most influential people in the world of technology, and it should be noted that when he reached the position he currently holds at Apple, the company has been improved in different aspects.

Years later, in 1994, he decided to move on, and became the chief operating officer of the Distribution Division at Intelligent Electronics. He later became part of the Compaq company, being the vice president for corporate materials. He only spent 6 months at Compaq since Steve Jobs called him to join Apple.

Cook arrived in 1998 at Apple ranking second for Global Operations. Through his work in this role, Apple was able to dramatically reduce the number of dissatisfied customers, resulting in improved profits. A couple of years later, he became senior vice president for Worldwide Operations, Sales, Service and Aftermarket. Big changes were also noted in the sector. In 2004, in addition to serving as Executive Vice President for International Sales and Operations, Cook became part of the engineering team that developed the Macintosh hardware.
Already in 2005, Tim served for a few months as CEO of the company due to the state of health of Steve Jobs. The same thing happened to him again in 2009, when Steve had to undergo surgery, and it was Cook who took his place. Thanks to his good work during those months, Steve Jobs himself appointed him as his successor when he retired permanently due to his worsening health.
