TP-Link Archer AXE75, a Wi-Fi 6E router under $200

TP-Link Archer AXE75 is the latest router announced by the Chinese manufacturer and fulfills the promise of bringing Wi-Fi 6E to any home or office for its contained price.

Wi-Fi 6E is the most advanced version of the wireless connectivity standard, but it needs new equipment starting with routers. Until now, the models that have been arriving on the market have been quite expensive. The new TP-Link breaks the norm by lowering its price below the $200 barrier.

As you know, Wi-Fi 6E launched the 6 GHz band as a major novelty, joining the existing 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks and expanding the spectrum of use by 1,200 MHz. It may not seem like much, but it quadruples the amount of available space, which means much more bandwidth, less interference for any compatible device, improved real transfer speeds and lower latencies.

The TP-Link Archer AXE75 is a router that can use all available bands at the same time to achieve a wireless connection of 5,400Mbps. It has six fixed high-gain antennas that must ensure that the connection reaches all the premises. And if that’s not enough, TP-Link offers optional OneMesh Extender adapters in mesh networks for wider coverage.

To its good networking capabilities, the router adds performance with a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and 512 MB of memory. Includes a WAN port and 4 Gigabit LAN ports. It also has a USB 3.0 port to connect external storage and share content with devices connected to the same network.

Routing uses the latest WPA3 security protocol and technologies such as OFDMA which increases capacity to allow simultaneous transmission to more devices. It has parental controls, a simplified configuration, local control (including by voice through Amazon Alexa) and also remotely.

The TP-Link Archer AXE75 is available on the manufacturer’s website for an official price of $199 and an introductory offer that leaves it at $169. Very good price for a Wi-Fi 6E router that we hope will soon be available in international markets.
