Hasbro And Eaglemoss Hero Collector they started the campaign Kickstarter of a huge (and expensive) Transformers-themed chessboard, the Transformers Gen-1 Chess Set.
It is a chess set containing 32 unique game pieces, modeled on aspects of the iconic characters of the Autobots and Decepticons from the original 1980s cartoon, represented here in their robot form. Each piece will be tall 10 to 15 centimeters and is ready to fight on a fantastic Cybertron themed chessboard.
A little less fantastic will be the chaos generated on the board to recognize and distinguish the various pieces, in case we actually want to play with the Transformers board and not simply display it, considering that every single piece will have a different appearance.
In fact, the only way we will have to remember what role a character has in the game will be to observe the small image placed on the base of each piece; with the only certainty that Optimus Prime and Megatron will be the Kings of their respective sides.
