At the end of the presentation event of the new iPhone and Apple Watch range for this year, in addition to the renewed iPad mini and the ninth generation of the iPad, the Cupertino-based company announced the release date of the final version of iOS 15: September 20.

Soon after, he confirmed that watchOS 8, would also be released that same day, so we only needed to confirm the release date of the final version of tvOS 15 and macOS Monterey. Apple has confirmed to The Verge that tvOS 15 will also arrive in its final version on the same day as iOS 15 and watchOS 15: on September 20.

Unfortunately, as we informed you a few weeks ago, one of the star functions that Apple presented at WWDC 2021, the function SharePlay, will not be available at launch, neither on iOS, nor on tvOS and not on macOS Monterey, of which we still do not know what the release date will be, but it is more than likely that it will be by the end of October or at the latest the first week of November.

If the rumors that point to a new event for the month of October are finally confirmed, an event where Apple will present the new Mac range together with the second generation of the M1 processor with ARM architecture, it is most likely that Apple officially announce the official release date of the final version of macOS Monterey.

Like tvOS 14, tvOS 15 isn’t a feature revolution, but if it includes substantial improvements. In addition to SharePlay, a function for which we will have to wait, this new version allows the possibility of establishing the HomePod mini as the default speakers of our television and will be compatible with spatial audio when we use the AirPods Pro or AirPods Max.
