Some cause serious problems on users’ computers, are never downloaded, or are simply never made available to some. All this despite the intensive work of Microsoft in this regard.
In fact, on certain occasions we can realize that not all Windows computers have the latest updates installed thrown. While some don’t mind this at all, others want to update Windows as soon as possible. This is precisely the reason why those from Redmond have decided analyze and study the reason why this happens. That is, why some Windows 10 or Windows 11 devices fall behind on updates when they should be getting them.
And it is that, based on Microsoft analysis, these computers do not meet certain specific update requirements. Thus, Windows-based devices that are not connected without interruptions for two hours in a rowor six total hours of connection after an update is posted, do not typically update.
Microsoft explains why updates don’t arrive

At the same time, energy management is another area that can potentially reduce the number of updated devices. Thus, Microsoft also suggests modify power settings for us to make sure that computers have enough time to download and install the latest updates. Keep in mind that not having the latest versions of the operating system can cause serious problems. Apart from not having the latest functions developed, we expose ourselves to being vulnerable to the latest attacks since we have not received the most recent security patches sent by Microsoft.
