Vikings: Valhalla, Netflix reveals the release date of the series

Netflix announced in these hours the Vikings release date: Valhalla, the Vikings spin-off series that will debut on the video streaming service next year.

After showing the first teaser trailer of the show, the time has finally come to mark the date of the premiere of Valhalla on the calendar.

Vikings: Valhalla will make its debut on Netflix on February 25, 2022, as revealed through an official tweet from the platform’s Geeked account; along with the launch windows of many other series that we were already aware of.

The series, produced by Netflix and created by Michael Hirst in collaboration with MGM Television, will follow the exploits of some important historical figures such as Leif Eriksson, his sister Freydis Eriksdotter, Prince Harald Hardrada and the Norman king William the Conqueror.

The cast will feature Sam Corlett (The Terrifying Adventures of Sabrina), Frida Gustavsson (Swoon), Leo Suter (The Liberator), Bradley Freegard (Keeping Faith), Jóhannes Jóhannesson (Cursed), Laura Berlin (Immenhof – The Adventure of a Summer), David Oakes (The Pillars of the Earth) and Caroline Henderson (Tuya Siempre), with the presence also of Pollyanna McIntosh and Asbjørn Krogh Nissen.

Jeb Stuart is the showrunner and screenwriter of the series.
