Sometimes, when looking at the specifications of smartphones like this Vivo X90 Pro, which comes to be the flagship of the brand in Europe (let’s remember that “at home” that role corresponds to the Vivo X90 Pro +), I have the doubt if we are talking about a phone with an excellent camera or if, on the contrary, it would make more sense to see it as a camera that also includes all the functions that we expect to find in a smartphone.
The doubt, however, is dispelled when reviewing the rest of its technical specifications, which remind us that we are facing a top of the range that, without a doubt, will serve to take great photos (and also videos, of course), but that it will also respond with total solvency to other of the most demanding tasks that we can demand from a mobile phone, such as enjoying the most up-to-date games, which in many cases have the habit of making the most of the performance of the devices.
So let’s move on, without further delay, to review the technical specifications of the Vivo X90 Pro.

The first look at the specifications already makes it clear that we are facing a device in which performance will not be a problem in any case. It is motorized with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200, a SoC presented at the end of last year and with which MediaTek stands up to the top-of-the-range integrated from Qualcomm and Apple. Its eight-core CPU integrates a Cortex-X3 capable of operating up to 3.05 gigahertz, three Cortex-A715 cores that reach 2.85 gigahertz and another four Cortex-A510 that focus on efficiency, and that reach up to the 1.80 gigahertz. It is accompanied by 12 gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAMthat we can grow with 8 gigabytes of virtual memoryand 256 gigabytes of UFS 4.0 storage.
To show its face, this Vivo X90 Pro mounts a AMOLED panel, curved at the edges, 6.78 inches with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 dots (its aspect ratio is 20:9), it can reach 120 hertz refresh rate and 1,300 nits of brightness (peak). It can represent 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and is HDR10+ certified. In addition, it has an advanced management system that quantifies the emitted light in real time, adjusting the output to take care of the user’s eyesight.
No surprise in the connectivity section, where we find everything that can be expected in a device with these characteristics. cellular connectivity 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, which are completed in the wireless section with NFC and compatibility with the main global geopositioning networks. We only find, going to wired connectivity, with a USB-C 3.2 port for data, headphone connection and battery charging.
This point deserves to be a little more detailed because, as we told you a few months ago, the Vivo X90 Pro is a real beast. Not so much for his ability, 4,870 milliampsas well as its 120-watt fast charging function that, according to the manufacturer, will allow us to charge the 50% in just eight minutes. In addition, it also supports fast wireless charging, up to 50 watts. Thus, autonomy is more than guaranteed.
Now, what this mobile really stands out for is, as I indicated at the beginning, in its photographic section. The mobile has a main camera composed of three sensors with Zeiss optics that promises a more than remarkable image quality. The main sensor is a 50.3-megapixel 23mm f/1.8 1-inch, which explains why it’s so bright. The telephoto sensor, with f/1.65 number, is also 50 megapixels and offers a 2x optical zoom. The camera is completed with an ultra wide angle is 12 megapixels and has a field of view of 108 degrees. For the front camera, Vivo has opted for a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.5 number.
The new Vivo X90 Pro will be available in Spain starting tomorrow, March 28 in the main stores. The recommended retail price is €1,199. You can find more information on Vivo’s website.
