VOD news 24/22: ‘Peaky Blinders’, Tommy Shelby’s break arrives

VOD News brings you the best releases of the week on Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+… And no, it’s not a particularly relaxed week like last week. That is not the point of emphasis. Peaky Blinders above other releases of rigorous premiere. Nevertheless…

It is costing Netflix to get on top of the section what it had never cost before and to get it again based on Peaky Blinders It’s not a good signal, but… Be careful, it’s not the only thing we highlight about him.

Peaky Blinders takes her Yes sir. Considered one of the best series in history by some of the most popular specialized forums in the world, Peaky Blinders says goodbye with its sixth season on Netflix, although it is not an original Netflix series, which was done with it when it was giving its last blows taking out the wallet. Be that as it may, we did not have the opportunity at the time to bring up Peaky Blinders and we take advantage of our own.

If you have already seen and even follow Peaky Blinders, there is no need for me to tell you anything, because you are already seeing it. Otherwise… You have within reach, and never better said, a period crime drama with an excellent Cillian Murphy (28 days later, Source, Dunkirk…) in front, surrounded by a cast of an exceptional level and well-known faces, who will keep you mercilessly glued to the screen, throughout its six seasons, of six episodes each.

Just in case, the one that follows is the trailer for the sixth season, but rather a brief preview of the first in which all the sap of Peaky Blinders.

The other outstanding premiere that we collect is so hot, that it was released in theaters just a week ago…. And it’s already on Netflix. Claw is the new film by Adam Sandler, in which the veteran comic actor continues to work in the key of drama, this time with a sports background. No fuss, he’s liking it.

Prime Video’s first major release of the week is Unlimited, a new Spanish historical miniseries that includes one of the feats of the times of Discovery: the journey undertaken by the Portuguese Fernando de Magallanes and the Spanish Juan Sebastián Elcano and which completed the first circumnavigation of the world. Disney + is that peta it, and it is that with Obi-Wan Kenobi still on air comes the new Marvel Cinematic Universe…

Ms Marvel is the series that tells the story of the best-known Muslim superhero in the Marvel universe, one that, due to its age and tone, can well be considered a rehash of Spider-Man with which to fill in the socio-cultural context it touches. Nothing new under the sun, not to say the opposite: Marvel releases on Disney + are smelling more and more stale, and as everything they have released shows. From bad to worse. That said, this one at least starts with no more aspirations than it can fulfill, as happened with the disappointing moon knight.
