Walmart, Mercadona and Lidl will give courses on the agri-food sector at EDEM

Next November, EDEM Escuela de Empresarios will welcome managers from Walmart, Mercadona and Lidl, among other companies, to give a class on new trends and innovations in the agri-food sector, within the training program Success Management for agri-food companies.

Miguel Angel Sanchez Valerosenior director of Global Sourcing Strategy at Walmart, will give a session on the future of retail at an international level; Paco Espert, general manager of Mercadona’s Dry Prescription, will explain the “new consumption models”; while Ferran Figuerascorporate general director of Lidl Supermarkets, will discuss “the evolution of the consumer”.

They are joined by businessmen such as the president of WOW Concept and former president of El Corte Inglés, Dimas Gimeno, the gastro influencers Fit Happy Sisters, the CEO of KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub, Raúl Martín, or managers of companies such as Coca-cola European Partners. and from startups that are revolutionizing the sector such as Heura, Aerofarms, Koroko or Aldous Bio.
