After the start of the invasion of Ukraine, many multinationals responded to the call of the country’s authorities to act against the Russian war effort, at their level of course. This is particularly the case in France with several operators such as Free, Orange and SFR, which have lowered the price of calls to Ukraine, or Apple internationally, which has announced the suspension of sales of its products on the Russian territory.

In sporting terms, theRussian teams are gradually banned from all international competitions such as the 2022 World Cup or all the world rugby, handball or basketball championships. Without surprise, many video game players have also mobilized to support the Ukrainian people. This is for example the case of the Polish studio 11 Bit Studios, the dads of the excellent anti-war game This War of Mine or the GOG platform. For its part, the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, currently at work on the long-awaited sequel to Stalker, appealed to everyone’s generosity by making donations to the Ukrainian armed forces.
