Telefónica’s innovation hub recently announced its investment in Sceenic, creator of Watch Together, a software that allows OTT platform users to share video content and video chat simultaneously with friends and family. With this investment, Sceenic seeks strengthen its presence in markets where Telefónica operates, in Europe and Latin America, as well as its internal growth and development of new technologies.
Sceenic has been recognized as the Top Leader in the Industry of co-viewing by Sports Innovation Lab (US) thanks to the advanced development of its technology and its extensive list of recognized global clients such as: BT Sport and ScreenHits TV (UK), PCCW (Hong Kong), NPO (Holland), Yes Network (US), T-Mobile, Eusovision Song Contest and NDR (Germany), among others. Compatible with the technology of OTT, allows rapid implementation and offers a wide portfolio of SDKs for mobile, web, Smart TVs, tablets, and set-top boxes.
