We have theorized a lot about when the second part of Black Panther on Disney+ and we finally have official confirmation from the platform itself streaming. The content service has become a little more difficult than necessary -as you will see a few lines below, it is far from the estimated launch date that it theoretically should have had-, but you can already write down a day on the calendar, which is the important thing. Take note.
Black Panther 2, the return of Wakanda
We never imagined that thinking about the first part of Black Panther would generate us so much nostalgia and more for a reason as sad as the death of its protagonist. Two years after the tape saw the light, Chad Bosemann He was leaving us due to a long illness, which he kept secret at all times and which put Disney in check with regard to its famous marvelita franchise.
And it is that with his departure, the second part of black panther, already raised, was completely staggering, making it difficult to make a decision: was it better to find a replacement, was there a possibility of using CGI techniques or was it better not to launch the sequel at all? After giving the matter much thought, the firm’s executives made the best decision: to continue with the saga, paying tribute to it and keeping its place inviolate, thus making use of a new heroine.
And so it came to theaters Black Panther: Wakanda Forevera tape that has exceeded expectationsmaking a box of more than 430 million dollars in the US and becoming the most successful female-led superhero film at the US box office.
This has inevitably influenced at its launch on the Disney+ platform and not in a positive way, of course, delaying its arrival in the catalog even more than expected.
We have to wait for February
Disney+ Spain has confirmed that the film will finally be available on its service on February 1st, taken in this way longer than usual. When we wondered, back in November, when Wakanda Forever might hit the streaming showcase, we took into account both the launch windows (of 45 or 60 days) as the possibility that a collection in subsequent weeks would increase the margins.
Finally money has set the pace and times –how odd, right? – and its box office success has caused Disney to prefer to stretch the gum a little more, not scheduling its premiere until the beginning of next month. So if you haven’t seen it yet (or even if you went to the movies but are looking forward to seeing it again) and you’re subscribed to disney+that you know that you have 3 weeks of waiting ahead.
