We Are Knitters has decided to go for a physical presence. The Spanish brand that born in 2011 with the aim of rejuvenating the art of weaving and which is specialized in the sale of kits, balls of yarn and patterns to weave your own clothes, opened its first physical store on October 6 after more than 11 years in the online sector. The chosen city is none other than Madrid and in the heart of the city, in the neighborhood of Malasaña, in Fuencarral Street 47.
So far, the company has developed several pop up experiences in different cities of the world (from Paris to New York) but it did not have any physical and permanent point of sale.
Its two founders will be present at the opening ceremony, Pepita Marin and Alberto Bravo, all attendees will be able to enjoy a pleasant coffee break and talk with them about any issue they feel like talking about. They will also carry out workshops in which they will teach you how to weave your own garments, having fun and trying out the true WAK experience in full.
In addition to a store to buy the usual products to weave with the WAK seal, the novelty arrives in activity format from ‘knitting parties’ (private events for groups of 6-8 people) to free ‘workshops’ aimed at people who want to learn how to do something simple.
