The hit series The Boys, produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television, returns in June 2022 on Prime Video.
The Boys is back ! The long-awaited third season of the hit series debuts on Prime Video with three first episodes on Friday, June 3. New episodes will be available each following Friday, until the final scheduled for July 8. Like the previous ones, this new eight-episode season will be broadcast exclusively on Amazon’s streaming platform.
The Boys is based on the New York Times bestselling comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. As a reminder, this series depicts an original, humorous and ironic take on a world where superheroes – who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as gods – abuse their superpowers instead of using them to do good. “The Boys,” a vigilante group, continue their mission to uncover the truth about the Seven and Vought, the multi-billion dollar conglomerate that runs superheroes and hides their dangerous secrets.

An even more insane season
The plot of these new episodes is being kept a secret, but the writers have given us a little grain to grind. Eric Kripke announced last July that some scenes would be even more explicit. It will obviously be a question of adapting Herogasm, a particularly sulphurous chapter of the comic strip. In this issue, all the superheroes gather around an annual party where debauchery is the main guest. Hughie and his gang will infiltrate the celebration and attend a fine game between several members of the Seven.
