The next flagships of Samsung could be announced within a few weeks, on the occasion of an Unpacked that we are already expecting firm footing.
Only a few days after the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, the next flagships of the Korean brand are already on everyone’s lips. It must be said that there are many expectations on the side of technophiles, who hope for a nice overhaul, both in form and in substance.
It is during a next event Unpacked expected on February 8 that the manufacturer has finally decided to present its new S range. In an interview with the Korean magazine Digital Daily, an official of Samsung Electronics would have thus confirmed the date of officialization, while detailing the continuation of the operations to come: the Samsung Galaxy S22 will indeed be available for pre-order from the next day, February 9, 2021, for a commercialization finally expected for February 24.
Three models, and an already promising range
According to rumors – many and persistent – around the next Galaxy S22, Samsung will take advantage of the year 2022 to offer three very high-end models, including the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which will benefit from an original design with flat edges, as well as ‘a quadruple rear photo sensor composed of a main module of 108 Mpx, an ultra wide angle of 12 Mpx, a telephoto lens of 10 Mpx (zoom x3), and a periscope x10 of 10 Mpx.
All housed directly in the shell of the phone, without any additional thickness. According to rumors, the S22 range will also offer particularly bright screens, as well as a processor Exynos 2200 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (for devices marketed in the United States). The S22 under Exynos will also benefit from a GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture.
Still a little patience, the rumors around the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S22 should soon find their answers. We don’t expect to be really surprised, however. Each year, Samsung is entitled to its share of leaks around the S range, and these are often verified. There are only a few more weeks to wait before having the end of the story, then.
