Westworld 4: a photo announces the start of work on the new season

I have to admit, my interest in the HBO series set in the deadliest amusement park on the planet has waned a bit over time, and I hardly remembered the existence of plans to make it happen. Westworld 4.

After the first season the whole show has gone downhill and, despite my passion for everything related to the era of the samurai, not even the third season has managed to raise the situation of the series which, however, now seems to have entered again. production with the fourth season.

Work begins on Westworld 4

Earlier this week, Jeffrey Wright, the actor who plays Bernard Lowe in the series, he returned to Instagram anticipating that the production of the new episodes has begun. He did it through a post, which you can take a look at directly below, showing a photo of a sign with the name of his character, accompanied by the caption “Good morning … old friend”.

A post that comes a few weeks after the statements of Thandiwe Newton, who said last April that the shooting of Westworld 4 would be “Start early”.

Well, that moment seems to have arrived (although for me, perhaps, it’s too late now):

Unfortunately, there is no news or details on the fourth season of Westworld, which seems to be heading towards an inevitable end, however, as revealed by the co-creator of the series Jonathan Nolan.

“We were very, very lucky to work with this cast, this crew” Nolan had declared last year. “When you have a show that goes this way, you want to stay as long as you know you’re telling a compelling story. We are heading towards that end, but we have not yet reached it. At this point, part of the job is to look at the rest of the story we have to tell. They are two impulses, which oppose each other. I wouldn’t want to get away from people who are as talented and cool as these. They are all lovely people, and they love to work together, we like to work together. At the same time, you don’t want to stay longer than you should. You have a story to tell and you want to leave without feeling like you have overdone the welcome that was given to you. So we are trying to balance these things a bit ”.
