Sony unveils the list of games offered as part of its PlayStation Plus subscription. Prepare for battle, it will be sporty!
It is almost the end of a year, which necessarily implies the start of a new one. On this occasion, Sony probably intends to celebrate it with great fanfare with its PlayStation Plus subscribers. Indeed, according to the press release of the firm, players can expect to have two games optimized for PS5 in the catalog for the month of January, as well as a PS4 game. Check out the full list of games for January below.
There is something for every taste
The very first title offered is Deep Rock Galactic, an independent and very original cooperative FPS. In this title you play as a space dwarf who fights against his environment, infested en masse with alien monsters. To overcome it, you can always count on the help of your friends, who will support you in this difficult task. This one is optimized for PS4 and PS5.
The second game offered is the big one DiRT 5, the latest installment in the famous motor racing franchise. Far from the standard racing circuits that can offer Gran Turismo or some Need For Speed, DiRT is known for its intense and memorable off-piste. The fifth opus is currently the most ambitious title of the saga, and notably offers to play in split screen up to 4 people. It is also optimized for PS4 and PS5.
Finally, the last game offered is Persona 5 Strikers, another big name in the video game world. Join the ranks of the Phantom Thieves in an epic new adventure packed with action, music and corruption battles. It is only optimized for PS4.
All these titles will be available from January 04 until February 1, 2022. For the month of January, no VR games in sight, unlike the games for the month of December, which you can always grab. Hurry anyway, they will no longer be available soon.
How to get these games?
As a reminder, PlayStation Plus is a subscription service offered by Sony on its consoles giving you access each month to downloadable games for free, often three or four in number, and allows you to play multiplayer games online. The subscription is available for € 8.99 per month, € 24.99 per quarter or € 59.99 per year.
