What If…? : Marvel has released a new promotional spot

It is not long before the series arrives on Disney Plus and Marvel has released a short promotional video of What If…? which adds a few more details to the official trailer released a few weeks ago.

The series will include the majority of the MCU cast and will feature characters seen in the 23 Marvel films in different stories, coming from alternate timelines.

With this promotional spot, i Marvel Studios they want to prepare fans to “expect the unexpected” in the new Disney Plus series. The show will have insane and funny alternate stories, which will show some Marvel characters in different situations than we know them, coming from alternate timelines.

The series will be narrated by the Observer, played by Jeffrey Wright, which will look at some cases where the MCU could have taken another route. Most of the cast from all the Marvel Cinematic Universe films released so far will return to reprise their roles, although in some cases their story will be shown in an alternate universe.

For this reason we will find Peggy Carter as super soldier in place of Steve Rogers, or T’Challa in the role of Star Lord. The alternate stories that the series will tell will tie into Loki’s season finale, where the multiverse has become a cornerstone for the future of Phase 4.

Besides Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) e Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa), will return to the series Michael B. Jordan (Killmonger), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Karen Gillian (Nebula), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Jeremy Renner (Hawk eye), Paul Rudd (Ant Man), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Neal McDonough (Dum Dum Dugan), Dominic Cooper (Howard Stark), Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark), Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Taika Waititi (Korg), Toby Jones (Arnim Zola), Jeff Goldblum (Grand Master) e Michael Rooker (Yondu).

The series What If…? will arrive on Disney Plus on August 11 and will consist of 10 episodes, with the second season already in production at i Marvel Studios.
