What to watch on Netflix
Yesterday, Friday, a good number of films arrived in the catalog, but given the choice of new releases, we are left with welcome to eden. This Spanish proposal presents us with the mysterious journey of a group of young people to an exclusive island where the biggest party in history is celebrated and about which few know much more. Obviously, nothing is what it seems and although at first the protagonists will believe that they are going to live the experience of their lives, they will soon discover that this is not so positive…
This is the start of the production created by Joaquín Górriz and Guillermo López for Netflix and which stars a good number of well-known faces such as Amaia Aberasturi, Amaia Salamanca, the Mexican artist Belinda and Albert Baró, among many others.
What to watch on HBO Max
Our bet within the HBO Max catalog goes to Moonshot. This film directed by Christopher Winterbauer and starring Lana Condor and Cole Sprouse, tells us the story of two university students who travel on a space shuttle to Mars (now colonized and inhabited by humans) to reunite with their loved ones. A film in the tone of a romantic comedy and with obvious touches of science fiction that hasn’t gone too badly for the critics and is sure to give you a good time.
What to watch on Amazon Prime Video
The “prize” of the week on the Amazon platform is taken The boarding school: Las Cumbres. And it is that the television series has already returned to the catalog with a second season that promises to offer as much mystery and dose of intrigue as the first installment. Remember that this production is a reboot from the popular Antena 3 series that we enjoyed more than a decade ago and that has now returned with new characters and plots (somewhat darker and more fantastic).
In the second season we will see how after the disappearance of a certain character, everyone is convinced that there is a serial killer hanging around the boarding school. This will not stop its tireless protagonists from trying to discover the truth.
What to watch on Apple TV+
We don’t usually talk about the premieres of this platform, far removed from the quotas of its competitors, but this time we want to recommend a very interesting proposal that deserves this exception. We talk about the series Severance that it is already in its eighth episode (it premiered yesterday) and that next week its first season will end with a heart-stopping Season Finale.
On severity we meet Mark Scout, a man who has agreed to work at the Lumon company in exchange for turning off his brain during working hours. In this way, and after the implantation of a chip, our protagonist is stripped of all his memories and relationships when he goes down the office elevator and returns to being himself once he walks out the door, therefore not remembering anything that happened. what happens in the company or what exactly you do during your working hours.
A very original approach and fantastically well executed by its cast that has been created by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle. Not to be missed.
