What will Apple present tomorrow?

Although for big launches Apple always resorts to its features keynotes, throughout each year there are also some less outstanding launches, generally minor renewals of existing devices that, however, are also interesting for all followers of the Cupertino product catalog. These announcements are not advanced in advance, unlike what happens with presentations.

Instead, Apple usually resorts to publishing statements in the press area of its website, thus allowing the media to echo and proceed to disseminate the news, if they consider it appropriate. interesting enough (something that, in the end, usually happens in the vast majority of cases). And that yes, something in which these small releases and those of great depth coincide, is in the high frequency with which they are usually filtered.

For years now, the leakers tend to advance, with a good success rate, the dates on which the most anticipated presentations will take place, but for some time now we are seeing the same thing begin to happen with the releases that are resolved with a press release. The most recent example is found in a tweet by popular leaker Jon Prosser, in which recommends that we stay tuned to the Apple press website tomorrow: “stay tuned for apple newsroom tomorrow 😏”.

It is striking that Apple is considering starting its 2023 launch schedule so soon, when we are still recovering from Christmas excesses. However, these days have been years since the announcement of the first iPhone as well as the first MacBook Air, so it makes sense to think that the company wants to gain media presence again at the beginning of the year.

Be that as it may, the time has come to ask ourselves what Apple is going to announce tomorrow, if Prosser’s advance is finally confirmed, and in this regard, there are two most likely possibilities (not mutually exclusive): the updated models 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini. In this sense, we can speculate that they are the teams that were seen, about a month ago, on Steam.

Recall that unlike the 13-inch model, the currently available 14- and 16-inch Pro laptops are equipped with an M1 chip, so the M2 versions should arrive later this year, and possibly tomorrow. And the same is the case with the Mac mini, which for the moment is also maintained with the first generation of Apple silicon and, therefore, must be renewed this same 2023.

Another possibility, although it seems less likely, is that it is the 15-inch MacBook Air that, at least in principle, we expected for the spring of this year.
