This week Apple has released for all developers the latest betas of macOS 12.3 Y iPad OS 15.4. The most important novelty of these updates is the incorporation (finally) of the long-awaited Universal Control system.

With this function you can use a single keyboard, mouse or trackpad on several Macs and iPads at the same time. A novelty presented in June of last year at WWDC 2020 and that has not yet been implemented at the moment. But if it already appears in the latest betas, it is that it is falling. Let’s see what devices will be compatible with said Universal control.

As we discussed a couple of days ago, Apple this week released the latest betas for macOS 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4 developers, with the main novelty being the incorporation of Universal Control.

With this new feature, you can control your Mac and iPad with a single keyboard, mouse or trackpad. A long-awaited feature for all those who want to use these two devices on the same workbench. Apple must have had some technical problems to be able to implement it on most devices, since Universal Control was presented last summer at WWDC 2020, and it is not yet ready for all users to enjoy it.

But since it has finally appeared in the latest betas this week, that means it will soon be released on macOS 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4 for all Macs and iPad users. Apple has already provided the list of devices that will be Compatible with Universal Controland are next

If your Mac and iPad are on the list, get ready because as soon as you can update them to macOS 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4, you’ll be able to enjoy Universal Control.
