Since the legal battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard began, we have all been aware of the progress made in the trial that began last April 2022. During an interview to promote Top Gun Maverick he was asked if the sixth installment was still underway. To the delight of the fans, he not only reaffirmed that the production was still going on, but also there would be another project of the saga on the way.

To date, it is unknown in what format the second project will be carried out, so some fans of the Disney world they have theorized that it could be a series for Disney +.
