Windows 11 22H2 is the best for gaming, according to Microsoft

There is no doubt that Windows 11 22H2 has been one of the most problematic updates that Microsoft has released in recent years, so much so that it had to be temporarily suspended to investigate a problem that affected gaming performance. The company was able to identify the problem, but on January 2 it was confirmed that said update was once again giving problems with AMD Ryzen processors, and that the performance of said operating system is, in the end, very similar to Windows 10.

With this background, and with all the problems it has caused, it is at least curious that Microsoft dare to say that Windows 11 22H2 is the best version of said operating system for gaming, and it also makes no sense for the Redmond giant to claim that “Windows 11 makes it easier to play games.” It’s also interesting that this marketing campaign from Microsoft is coming right now. Personally, I think this campaign is understandable because, in the end, Microsoft is aware that it has screwed up with Windows 11 22H2, and that the performance problems that said operating system has been giving practically since its launch with Ryzen processors does it no favors. In my case, I have a PC with Ryzen 7 5800X and I haven’t wanted to upgrade to Windows 11 yet precisely because of the history of problems that this operating system brings together, especially with AMD processors.

It is true, however, that Microsoft has introduced improvements focused on gaming with the Windows 11 22H2 update, and we can see them perfectly summarized and explained in the attached video. It is also true that the Redmond company made a master move with Game Pass, but this does not change the fact that Windows 22H2 was a disaster at launch, and that it is further confirmation that the giant tYou have to get more serious with the quality control of Windows 11 updates.

For my part, I am clear that I am going to keep Windows 10 for a while, and that I will only upgrade to Windows 11 on my main PC when the quality of the updates you receive begins to meet a minimum quality. Without further ado, I leave you with the video, and I invite you to give us your opinion in the comments.
