Windows 11 grows in market share

The market share of Windows 11 continues to grow little by little. After a fairly discreet premiere, the passage of time, the improvements and bug fixes that Microsoft has introduced have made more and more users dare to take the leap, as we see in the data that Neowin has shared.

In the graph we have a clear summary of how the usage share of the different versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11 is distributed. The most used version of Windows 10 is 21H1, while 21H2 has a market share of just 12.1%. The second most used is Windows 10 20H2.

The third position is occupied, curiously, by Windows 11, with a share of 16.1%, a result that is not entirely bad, especially since, as we have said, Windows 10 21H2 only reaches 12.1% market share. The rest of the percentages are distributed among the oldest versions of Windows 10, such as 2004, which still has a market share of 9.7%, for example.

However, it is important to note that These data are merely indicative, and that they do not offer a totally realistic vision, but only an approximate one, of the state in which the Windows ecosystem finds itself. This is so because these percentages have been obtained from a total of 60,000 analyzed computers. (Xanax)

In any case, the important thing is that little by little the market share of Windows 11 is growing and that, in the end, it is only a matter of time until it ends up being the most used. Right now, it is in a fairly mature state, although it still has some problems that should have been resolved by now.

If you have a PC that meets the requirements and you doubt if you should make the leap to Windows 11, don’t worry, you can take the leap, try it and if it doesn’t convince you, go back to Windows 10 automatically within a maximum period of 10 days.
