Wolters Kluwer renews its collaboration with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce

The software company Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce have renewed their collaboration agreement with the aim of add value to the business fabric of Barcelonaespecially the self-employed and SMEs, and contribute to their digital transformation.

Tomas Font, General Director of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting in Spain, has pointed out that “Through the actions and projects promoted by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, we want to collaborate in the transformation of companies by contributing our leadership in the sector and offering our experience in management solutions. After the crisis generated by the pandemic, we find ourselves at a time when it is more necessary than ever to be at the side of the business fabric. Our strategy involves continuous innovation and enhancement of our suite of expert solutions for professionals to this end.”

For its part, Monica Roca i Aparicipresident of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, highlighted “the importance of investing in ICT and technological training to implement a profound digital transformation”, as well as the fundamental role of the HUB cambraDigital in promoting the growth of companies. The Study Office of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce estimates the investment in ICT made by Catalan companies with more than 10 workers in 2019 at 4,000 million euros, which represents 1.7% of Catalonia’s GDP.

Firm commitment to digitization and support for HUB cambraDigital

Wolters Kluwer will support companies in the area in their digitization processes by making available its management solutions, services, content, conferences and events, as well as projects that can add value to the members and collaborators of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.

Within the framework of the collaboration agreement, Wolters Kluwer has also announced its support for HUB cambraDigital, a space aimed at entrepreneurs who are starting a project and need advice.
