Xbox Game Pass: Mass Effect and Outer Wilds land to kick off 2022

As usual, the Xbox Game Pass sees its catalog expand further. And to start 2022 as it should, Microsoft has just announced a plethora of additional titles from January 4, such as The Pedestrian, Mass Effect Legendary Edition or the already cult Outer Wilds.

About every fortnight, Microsoft gives Xbox Game Pass subscribers a new batch of additional games, accessible on consoles, PC, and via the cloud. As recently unveiled by the Redmond firm, it added more than 5,500 euros of video games to its platform in 2021. What to give an idea of the value of the catalog.

And to start the year right, Microsoft has just announced the arrival of several additional titles on the Game Pass as of January 4, 2022. As usual, there will be something for everyone, starting with Gorogoa, a puzzle-game winner of the first game prize at the BAFTA Games Awards, or The Pedestrian, an original puzzle and platform game.

The big entry in the catalog is none other than Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This compilation brings together the remastered versions of the first three opus of the cult Bioware saga. The opportunity to rediscover the first adventures of Shepard and the crew of the Normandy in 4K Ultra HD, with which more is almost all the DLC released to date (nearly forty). We then continue with a small independent nugget signed Annapurna Interactive: Outer Wilds. In this absolutely fantastic space exploration game, you play as the first astronaut of an alien people. Your mission ? Travel the solar system for clues to a lost civilization. But time is running out. Every 20 minutes, the sun turns into a supernova and destroys everything in its path. But for some reason you still don’t know, you always come back to life, before you leave.
