Who says beginning of the month says new batch of games offered to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Microsoft has indeed revealed the list of titles available for free. As usual, players will be able to throw themselves into four games, among the Knights of Baphomet 5, Aerial Knight’s Never Yield, Hydrophobia and Band of Bugs.
While Xbox Game Pass subscribers can get their hands on a multitude of new games at the end of 2022, starting with the excellent Death’s Door and the three seasons of Hitman, it’s the turn of Xbox subscribers Live Gold to receive a handful of free games in February 2022.
Microsoft has just revealed the official list on its blog. As per usual, players will be able to get their hands on four free games, namely:
- Knights of Baphomet 5: Curse of the Serpent
- Aerial Knight’s Never Yield
- Hydrophobia
- band of bugs
Games offered with Xbox Live Gold in February 2022
Let’s start with the Knights of Baphomet, a point and click reference. In this fifth episode, we find George Stobbart, our favorite intrepid American alongside a certain Nico Collard, the reckless French journalist. The duo sets off on the trail of a stolen masterpiece. However, this simple case of theft could hide a darker, more terrible conspiracy than anything they’ve faced before.
Aerial Knight’s Never Yield will be intended above all for speedrunners and fans of records and performance. Play here Wally, a mysterious character always on the move. Jump, run, slide, all to the rhythm of Danime-Sama’s work. We then switch to the two titles dedicated to backward compatibility, namely Hydrophobia and band of bugs.
The first appears as a 3rd person survival and adventure game whose plot takes place on a floating city controlled by terrorists. With a little horror side at times, the title seduced when it was released on Xbox 360. In Hydrophobia, you will especially have to fight the heroine’s phobia of water, the game’s main enemy. As for Band of Bugs, you will have to face armies of insects and even up to seven of your friends in Spider Hunter mode. This is a “intuitive and frenetic strategy/tactics game that immerses you in the heart of a fantasy world”.
