XGIMI’s new Halo+ projector puts the spotlight on the wall

Portable projectors have (almost) nothing to envy large format televisions, and in addition they have the luxury of being usable anywhere without a power outlet nearby! The XGIMI specialist has just presented a new model.

Why bother with a bulky TV when you can use a portable projector? This is what XGIMI offers, one of the world leaders in this type of equipment, which lifts the veil on the Halo+. This new model succeeds the Halo, launched in the fall of 2020. The latter having been a big success, the manufacturer hopes to reach even more lovers of beautiful images.

It adapts to all surfaces

The Halo+ streams a native 1080p FHD image, with a brightness of 900 lumens. The focus is automatic, and the device adjusts the brightness very quickly to provide the best possible image quality. The configuration has been designed to be as simple as possible, including automatic correction of vertical and horizontal trapezoidal distortion.

Even better, on-board technologies allow the projection to avoid obstacles like picture frames or light switches. The user will be able to enjoy its content from any angle and in almost any environment.

Portability requires, the Halo + does not need a power outlet to operate. Its battery offers a use of 2 hours, which may be a bit tight to enjoy the latest blockbusters that happily exceed this duration. The Wi-Fi connection also allows wireless streaming from any other device connected to the network.

The box incorporates Harman Kardon speakers for Dolby and DTS reproduction. And then the Halo + is also a complete media center running Android TV 10: you can install applications and games from the Play Store, use the Google Assistant or use it as a Chromecast. All for €849.
