When we talk about Xiaomi smartphones, for years, we see a clear trend to stand out from the rest of the models on the market, offering a special emphasis on one of the characteristics most demanded by users: photography. And is that the new Xiaomi 12 Ultra could not be less, anticipating one of the most powerful and complete configurations.
This is how we have seen it in the latest leaks shared by RODENT950 and LetsGoDigital, which show us an important change with respect to previous rumors, which claimed that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra would sport a second screen on the back, abandoned in favor of a huge circular chamber island similar to the one presented in the Nokia Lumia 1020 PureView. Although the cameras on this phone are expected to not reach the level of this phone, abandoning the collaboration with Leica.
However, we will not lack quality either. Although at the moment the specifications of the same have not been released, these leaked images suggest that the phone will have at least four cameras and several additional sensors, including a 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor and possibly a color temperature sensor. Also, these sensors are expected to come accompanied by various software enhancements, in addition to the already common professional customization settings that these phones include, offering a complete photographic experience.
However, the rest of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra design is less spectacular in comparison. Regarding its front part, also shown in these renderings, we are expected to find a large screen, with a curved 6.8-inch AMOLED panel on the sides, with a simple front camera perforated in the upper central part.
As for its interior, this smartphone is expected to be the first Xiaomi model to equip the newly presented Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, accompanied by high-end specifications with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage internal expandable.
Although for the moment the company has not wanted to offer any official details, everything indicates that we will hardly have to wait to know the rest of the details, since this terminal will debut along with the rest of the new Xiaomi 12 series, expected by the end of this month.
