Such has been the success of this series, that a few days after the premiere of the third season, at the beginning of last June 2022, TheBoys was renewed for a fourth season. What is almost as impressive as this instant renewal is the record time in which the recordings have begun, since they began in the middle of this month of August.
These production times are very unusual in the world of television series, since there is usually a considerable wait between the end of the broadcast season and the start of the pre-production process for the next one. This leads us to believe that the fourth installment in the series has been in the making within Amazon Studios for a long time and that everything that happens in it is more than decided… including possible new characters.
