Apple has just published a new trailer on its YouTube account as a summary of the first season of the series “Foundation”. Precisely today Friday, it opens in Apple TV + the last chapter of this first season of the series.
The video lasts 90 seconds and is a summary of the main events of the first eight episodes that make up the first season of the series. This trailer contains some “spoilers”, so we advise you not to see it if you have not seen the series yet, and you plan to do so.
“Foundation” tells the story of the institute of the same name created by “psychohistorian” Hari Seldon (Jarred harris) during the decline of a 12,000-year-old Galactic Empire. After predicting the downfall of his civilization, Seldon hopes to avoid the coming dark ages by collecting and preserving human knowledge at said Foundation.
The series is inspired by the characters and places of the novel by Isaac asimov of the same name. It is not an adaptation to the small screen of the novel itself, since the plot is totally different. Apple has already confirmed that there will be a second season, with no start date for filming yet. So it goes for a long time. Today the last chapter of the first season, entitled “The First Crisis”, premieres on Apple TV +.
