Zoom bets on translation and presents Zoom One

Zoom has decided to modernize and has recently presented the latest news on its platform On the one hand, it has launched Zoom One, a new solution that unifies chat, phone, meetings, and whiteboard, among other functionalities, in secure and scalable packages. And, on the other hand, it has launched a new functionality of translated and multilingual subtitles.

Built specifically to work together, Zoom One’s intuitive experience gives customers a choice of six levels of offerings based on their business needs.

  • Zoom One Basic offers free 40-minute Zoom meetings for up to 100 attendees, outside of meetings, persistent Zoom chat for team messaging, limited Zoom whiteboard for synchronous and asynchronous work, and real-time transcription.
  • Zoom One Pro offers everything Zoom One Basic offers with no time limits on meetings, plus the ability to record in the cloud.
  • Zoom One Business offers everything Zoom One Pro offers, plus Zoom Meetings for up to 300 attendees and unlimited whiteboards.
  • Zoom One Business Plus provides everything Zoom One Business offers, plus Zoom Phone Pro with unlimited regional calling and the new translation feature.
  • Zoom One Enterprise and Zoom One Enterprise Plus they offer everything Zoom One Business offers with much larger meeting capacity and additional features like Zoom Webinars to help modern businesses scale. Zoom One Enterprise Plus also includes Zoom Phone Pro with unlimited regional calling.

Zoom One Basic, Pro, Business and Business Plus plans are now available for purchase online. To purchase Zoom One Enterprise or Enterprise Plus, customers can speak directly with a Zoom account executive.

The new translated and multilingual subtitles

Zoom’s new translated captions will allow users to view captions in the language of their choice. Translations will be available between English and 10 other languages, or from any of the 10 languages ​​to English. Available languages ​​are German, Chinese (Simplified), English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Japanese, Dutch, Russian, and Ukrainian. To access the translated captions feature, Zoom One customers must upgrade to Zoom One Business Plus (in applicable countries) or Zoom One Enterprise Plus packages.

In addition, Zoom has also expanded automatic subtitles, that is, the ability to subtitle in real time what a speaker says in the same language that is spoken, to include 10 more languages. Automatic subtitles were previously offered in English, but can now be displayed in the 10 additional languages ​​mentioned above. Automated captions in multiple languages ​​are available in Business Plus, Enterprise, and Enterprise Plus packages, with support for other plans coming soon.
