Zscaler Resilience, cloud resilience solution for SSE

Zscaler has announced the cloud resiliency solution Zscaler Resilienceconsisting of a package of capabilities that extend the resilience of architecture and operations by Zscaler. In addition, they are also responsible for ensuring the operation of connections and user devices with critical cloud-based applications. With these SSE capabilities, the company’s customers will be able to prepare for “black swan” incidents, as well as quickly recover from their consequences.

So that companies can prepare for events of this type, Zscaler Resilience take advantage of the services integrated into the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange cloud security platformwith which they have business continuity benefits that allow the company’s client companies to continue with their operations normally.

In addition, Zscaler Resilience offers business continuity capabilities that protect against blackouts and brownouts by automatically finding the best path from the user and device to the application. It incorporates disaster recovery capabilities so that when a catastrophic event impacts access to private applications behind the Zscaler Cloud, IT and SecOps teams have the flexibility to safely bypass the affected Zscaler Cloud and connect to a Zscaler Private Service Edge in the customer’s on-premises data center or in the public cloud. There, updated security policies will continue to be applied without interrupting the business.

In this case, you can even restrict direct Internet access to only business-critical applications, with localized content filtering, and take advantage of the Zscaler Client Connector to ensure uptime.

The function Performance-Based Prompt enables rapid recovery from brownouts that can degrade performance between users and applications. To do this, it uses continuous analysis of HTTP latency in the gateways and the establishment of tunnels that choose the best route for the traffic. Regarding the exclusion of data centers controlled by the client, it allows establishing a temporary exclusion period for data centers with connectivity problems, and once the problem is solved, services can be recovered automatically.

Zscaler has also announced the new custom service Resilience Audit, in charge of helping to prepare business continuity plans. To do this, it identifies areas for improvement and closing gaps before an unforeseen event can cause interruptions.
