Zscaler strengthens its integrations with CrowdStrike to improve security

Zscaler has announced a increasing integrations of its Zero Trust ExchangeTM platform with the CrowdStrike XDR platform. Thanks to this, customers who have shared Zscaler and CrowdStrike have greater visibility of the devices and the network in the company, as well as greater control of their security. In this aspect, they have the possibility of relating sets of data sources to identify new indicators of danger, and to be able to transform suspicious signals into threat detections.

Both companies hope that with this integration, organizations can more easily identify ransomware and other threats when adopting a Zero Trust architecture. By synchronizing the Zscaler policy engine with CrowdStrike Falcon Fusion (SOAR) task flows, system administrators can access integrated closed-loop response.

Thus, based on a newly detected threat, or suspicious activity located in CrowdStrike Falcon Insight XDR, customers can trigger direct response actions. Also leverage CrowdStrike Falcon Fusion task flows to change user group membership, and apply Zero Trust policies to protect systems without compromising the flexibility users need to stay productive, reacting granularly based on severity of the threat.

Customers will also have deep, unified context for investigations. All thanks to the addition of Zscaler network telemetry to Falcon Insight XDR. This way security analysts get more context. It also gives them more agility to detect, investigate, and respond to attacks, which they can do from the CrowdStrike Unified Command Console.

In addition, this reinforcement of the integrations between Zscaler with CrowdStrike allows full-cycle incident response in closed loop. Thus, customers can enable closed-loop threat analysis, detection, and response workflows from the device, to the network, to the applications, from anywhere.

Michael Rogers, Vice President of Global Alliances at CrowdStrikehas highlighted that «Zscaler has been one of our first partners to join the CrowdXDR Alliance. With this new offering, our mutual customers will gain unprecedented visibility across the enterprise infrastructure across devices, users and applications, turning signals into insights and automating response actions with a unified, mission-centric control platform. threats.”

As to Punit Minocha, Executive Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at Zscalerstresses that his approach «It’s always been about fostering a customer-first mindset and incorporating your feedback to expand and improve our integrations. A large number of them have deployed our joint solution in mission critical environments and their feedback has greatly helped our company. Another notable milestone is Zscaler recognizing CrowdStrike as Go-to-Market Partner of the Year earlier this summer. It’s no surprise that our collaborative efforts have helped to greatly advance and strengthen our partnership.”
