Zyxel Networks has carried out the supply and installation of the equipment for the public data network in the Fair and Congress Center of the Ciudad Real Provincial Council. A project where the organization has collaborated closely to implement under a single system for the centralized management of Zyxel access points, gateways and switches and thus be able to track the status of the entire network, while managing and monitoring it.
The Ciudad Real Provincial Council has a 12,000 m2 building for fairs and exhibitions. It consists of an exhibition hall with a capacity of 10,000 m2 distributed over two floors and five rooms are located in it to accommodate 350 people each. In addition, it has an assembly hall with a capacity of 400 seats, a restaurant service and an open pavilion, with an area of 1,500 m2, as a complement to the assembly hall.
To provide a better service to the significant number of visitors and people who regularly visit the facilities, the agency needed to improve internet connections. To do this, it opted for Zyxel solutions, through its partner CIM Informática, to renew the wired infrastructure in terms of centralization, through a single cloud solution, of access points, gateways and switches.
In this way, achieve greater security at access points, eliminate complicated network management and poor analysis and reporting capacity, as well as lowering the cost of deployment and unintuitive solutions installed.

According to Juan Bautista García de la Calle, who is responsible for communications and networks at the Ciudad Real Provincial Council, “the operation during the fair has been perfect. The ease of management as well as the distribution of the equipment in the various pavilions has made it easier for us to provide quality Wi-Fi in all the locations of the fair.”
Thus, Zyxel has achieved that the La Mancha city complex can manage unlimited access points, monitor the network and set alarms for maximum security, while locating Wi-Fi clients and possible malicious intrusions through an internal and external network of easy configuration thanks to Nebula. In such a way that the centralized management of all the devices from the centralized Zyxel cloud platform has been complete, fast, intuitive and profitable, making it possible for the WLAN infrastructure to be secure and to take full advantage of all the functionalities.

As a result, the WiFi now at the Ciudad Real Fair and Congress Center has achieved a new level of flexibility, faster connections – up to 10 times faster – and a considerable increase in the degree of security in perimeter protection.
In addition, it now has power to manage users connected to an access point, reducing latency in connections and better coverage that provides higher quality connections and avoids audio and video cuts.
Advanced network security protects all connections thanks to the encryption system that guarantees the inviolability of Wi-Fi passwords. All this through solutions such as Zyxel ATP500, Zyxel GS1920-24HP switches and WIFI 6 access points model WAX 610 and NWA210.
