The first photos of the new set arrived online yesterday LEGO Ideas Sonic The Hedgehog 21331 dedicated to the iconic blue hedgehog protagonist of the SEGA videogame saga.
The photos of the box, which we can see for the first time ever right below, have been published by the site MercadoLibre, a Mexican online store.

As we can see the set features the SEGA mascot running through the first part of the Green Hill Zone, trying to collect the golden rings and fighting against the LEGO version of the Doctor Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik and his henchmen. In fact, Sonic is the only minifigure in the set, since the other characters are made with bricks.

From the package we get interesting information about Sonic’s LEGO set such as the measurements (17 cm high and 36 cm long) and the number of pieces that is 1125. However, the photos show us some connectors on the right flap of the set, a sign that LEGO probably plans to put future expansions on the market.
The Mexican online shop reports a price of 2,699 pesos, equivalent to about 115.00 euros at the current exchange rate, a price that should not differ from the official one that we will know when the LEGO Ideas Sonic The Hedgehog 21321 Set arrives on the shelves in 2022.
