The publishing house Pandasaurus Games announced the arrival, together with the opening of the related pre-orders, of Machi Koro 2.
Let’s go and discover this new and revised edition of board game from the publisher we know for titles like Dinosaur Island and The Mind.
Machi Koro 2 coming to Pandasaurus Games
Machi Koro 2 arrives as an entirely new title, spiritual heir to the previous board game of 2012. The creator of the title is the same, Masao Suganuma, which set Machi Koro 2 in Tokyo. The maximum number of players goes from 4 to 5 (2 is the minimum), and so does the duration of the match, which is extended by a quarter of an hour compared to the previous 30 minutes.
It is a city-building based on cards, with mechanisms that recall, but renew, those of the previous title. Through the purchase and placement of cards, and thanks to an interesting interaction between the players, it will not be easy to be the first player to build the third monument!
Machi Koro 2 is already in pre-order with Pandasaurus Games; this is the first edition published in the West after the original language edition arrived in Japan last year. We’ll see if any local publishers decide to bring us this title localized in Italian, after the first version had been translated and distributed by uPlay Edizioni.
