[MSI 2022] Check the results of the fifth and sixth day of the tournament

The MSI 2022 Group Stage has already become a “turning page”. This past weekend, the League of Legends international tournament decided the situation of the three groups of the championship. As a result, only six teams — of the initial 11 — are still in contention for the cup.

Not surprisingly, T1, RNG and G2 finished leaders of their respective groups and advanced undefeated. Without the same brilliance, but with an interesting advantage over the third-placed teams, Saigon Buffalo, PSG Talon and Evil Geniuses won the second places in their groups and also passed the stage.

Unfortunately, the end of the Group Stage also resulted in the “farewell” of DetonatioN FocusMe, Team Aze, RED Canids Kalunga, Istanbul Wildcats and Order from MSI 2022.

End of the Group Phase

With the results of the fifth and sixth days of MSI, the table of the three groups looked like this:

As only the top two teams in each group qualify, this means that of the 11 participants in the tournament, only T1 and Saigon Buffalo (Group A), Royal Never Give Up and PSG Talon (Group B) and G2 Esports and Evil Geniuses (Group C) advance to the next stage.

Start of the next phase

Speaking of which, the phase Rumble Stage starts next Friday (20), from 5 am (Brasilia time). In this stage, which ends on May 24, all six qualified teams face each other, in two rounds, and in MD1 matches.

At the end of this stage, only the four best placed will advance to the final stretch of MSI 2022.
