The Most Anticipated Games of 2022

2022 is shaping up to be an incredible year for gamers. Several highly anticipated games are scheduled for release, including new entries in some of the most popular gaming franchises around. Whether you are looking for your favourite game in our list or play games on online platforms on Play Amo, keep reading!

A Plague Tale: Requiem

In the conclusion of A Plague Tale: Innocence, Amicia and Hugo continue their journey south in search of a better life. However, strange adventures await them, including those connected to Hugo’s ancestral curse, which according to prophecy will be curbed on a mysterious island.

The sequel to the excellent game is here. The player once again controls a young woman who must defend herself and her village against rats, and this time it’s not only on foot but also by airship. Players will be able to master magical abilities and see medieval scenery as they try to stop the rodents from reaching their homes.

However, the most significant change is that there will be more of them than previously. As a result, the game does not launch on last-generation consoles – developers want to show whole hordes of rats’ intense situations. To make them appear more realistic, researchers looked at real-life rat behaviour and incorporated it into the game. So even a single rat may represent a severe risk.

The game will still feature a quiet passage as well as an open fight. Because Amicia has matured and grown since the first part, her arsenal has improved — she can use a crossbow now, among other things. And the trailer above suggests that she may have some supernatural abilities, similar to Hugo.

God of War: Ragnarok

In the sequel to the greatest game, Kratos and Atreus will have to travel to nine kingdoms in order to enlist allies. After all, a furious battle will soon commence, and Ragnarok will arrive, for which the armies of Asgard are preparing with might and main.

In the meanwhile, issues about fathers and children will broaden. The first section of this book was entirely dedicated to it. An adult Atreus will seek to figure out what his real duty is and what the prophecies have to say about him. Kratos must also decide if he should put aside his past and become a real father for Atreus or continue to be concerned about repeating old errors.

The game’s mechanics are largely a mystery. You can see some new features in the debut trailer, such as Atreus’ ability to summon mythical creatures and a form of cat hook in Kratos’ arsenal. Perhaps the locations will be higher up than they were in part 1? You should not expect too much technologically, since the game is also coming out for PS4, but we hope that the sequel’s gameplay will differ from part 1 not just through new monsters.

Homeworld 3

The second chapter of Homeworld was published in 2003. Since then, the series has been on hiatus for a long time, until a prequel called Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak was released by Blackbird Interactive (formerly known as Relic Entertainment). Now that they’ve completed the third part, they’re looking to take it to the next level.

The battle for the galaxy is underway once more in Homeworld 3, with a whole galaxy at risk owing to malfunctions in the hyperspace gate. The player will be in command of a fleet and engage enemies, adding problems such as space storms and asteroid fields from time to time. One of the many improvements found in Homeworld 3 is massive forgotten vessels from an ancient civilization, which are referred to as “three-dimensional fight stages.” You can hide there by ambushing unsuspecting foes.
