As in the previous case, you can only schedule ignition or turn them off. You’re not going to be able to turn up the temperature or whatever settings they have. It is a simple automation, for the basics.

There are very sophisticated models of washing machines and dishwashers, with innovative characteristics and that we can control remotely. But you can also do it if you have older models, since you will be able to connect them to a smart plug with Wi-Fi and control them no matter where you are.
You will also have to leave the electrical appliances ready, to be able to turn them on remotely. This is useful in order to save energy if you have an electricity rate with hourly discrimination. You can turn them on automatically at times when it is cheaper to use electricity at home.
Turn lamps on and off
You may want certain lamps turn on or off at a certain time. It can even be useful to scare away possible thieves if you are going to be away from home for a while. You can easily do this with a smart plug, to which you are going to connect those lamps that you want to control.
