Alan Wake Remastered: an official video compares the new and old graphics

The release of Alan Wake Remastered, the remastered edition of the cult game of Remedy of 2010 is now imminent and, while we know that the product placements of Energizer Batteries will no longer be present in the new version, many are wondering what the actual improvements will be in terms of graphics.

An answer has tried to give in these hours the official YouTube channel of Xbox, where a video has been published that compares the new and old graphics of Alan Wake.

Not only are the graphic improvements quite evident, but also the character models have been totally reworked, making the production more current without distorting the initial design conceived by Remedy. A work that has affected not only the characters but also the environments, now much more brilliant and dynamic.

That said, it is evident that we are facing a real remastered (and not a remake), with the animations that have evidently remained at the standards of ten years ago.

You can judge for yourself by taking a look at the video below:

To see some real news we will probably have to wait for the release of Alan Wake 2, whose production seems to have already started but has never been confirmed.

Alan Wake Remastered will be released on October 5th on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Game Store.
