Alfredo Yepez named HPE leader for Southern Europe and Latin America

Far-reaching changes in the leadership of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The American multinational has just announced that Alfredo Yepez has been appointed leader of a new regional organization that has been expanded and now covers both Southern Europe and Latin America effective January 1, 2023. In this role, Alfredo Yepez assumes full responsibility for the end-to-end management of HPE’s business, people, and operations across the region.

Yepez replaces José María de la Torre, who until now held the position of Managing Director for Southern Europe, in addition to being president and CEO of HPE Spain. At the moment, it has not been revealed if De la Torre will occupy a new position in the HPE structure, or if his future is in another company. The fact that HPE debuts a new expanded region it also raises doubts about the direction that the company will take in the old continent from now on and the weight that our country will have in the region.

Until now Alfredo Yepez was senior vice president and general manager of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and in this new position, he adds responsibility for the HPE Southern Europe (SEUR) region that includes Spain, Italy, Greece and Israel. He will also hold the position of president and general director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Spain.
