After an announcement that left Alien fans surprised earlier this year, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, the cooperative multiplayer game of Cold Iron Studios, is back in a new, very bad, trailer.
A video that seems to have convinced all the fans of the franchise a bit (judging at least by the amount of likes received), and which seems to show a game that, if nothing else, will make us forget for a moment the fact that there are no plans to a sequel to Alien Isolation.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite trailer and release date
The trailer also revealed the precise release date of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, which is now set for August 24 next (not long).
There he is:
Aliens: Fireteam Elite “Is a survival cooperative third-person shooter set in the iconic Alien universe, where your team of battle-hardened Marine soldiers faces a desperate fight to contain the threat of the Xenomorph.”
There are multiple classes for players to choose from, including Gunner, Doc, Technician, Demolisher, and Recon. Players will support each other in these roles as waves of xenomorphs attack us (some of which are types of xenomorphs never seen before). Colonial Marines can also be further customized with various weapon and cosmetic benefits.
The game will be available on Steam (here you can find the official page), PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
