Call of Duty Vanguard: that’s why the Activision logo does not appear

Since it was officially announced Call of Duty Vanguard, a few days ago, many have noticed the absence of the Activision logo from any marketing material, from trailers to posters, even passing through the simple screenshots shared by the company. The thought immediately went to the legal problems that the company is facing, after a scandal that led to a lawsuit against Blizzard.

Why is the Activision logo missing from the Call of Duty Vanguard trailer?

If you are looking for an official reason, it is the one you find below, reported on the social media former editor in chief of Kotaku who, when asked Activision the reason for the absence of the logo, was answered in this way:

“Call of Duty has continued to expand into an incredible universe of experiences. This was a creative choice that reflects how Vanguard represents the next big chapter in the franchise. “

Actually, Activision’s name appears small in the legal notices regarding the copyright of the recent trailer dedicated to the alpha version but, even in this case, the company logo is completely absent.

In short, the official motivation would concern a creative choice but fans continue to think that, also due to the rather suspicious timing, behind the choice not to show Activision’s name lies the intolerance of most of the public towards the company. and how it dealt with complaints from its employees.
